Jesus--Mormon View
"Based on the Book of Mormon and the Bible, plus the
revelations of Joseph Smith, the faith of Mormons is like that
found in many conservative Protestant churches. However, certain
aspects of the theology of Latter-Day Saints depart from the
traditional orthodoxy of Catholic and Protestant churches: Three
persons comprise the Godhead--the Father, the Son, and the Holy
Ghost; the Father and the Son have bodies of flesh and bone,
but the Holy Ghost is a personage of Spirit. . ."

"Jesus is the Firstborn. Obviously, he did not have
this distinction as pertaining to his birth into mortality, for
many millions preceded him in birth upon this earth. But it must
not be forgotten, however little the doctrine is known and believed
in the present so-called Christian world, that all men lived
in a pre-existent estate before they were born into this world;
all were born in pre-existence as the spirit children of the
Father. Christ was the Firstborn Spirit Child, and from that
day forward he has had, in all things, preeminence . . . . .He
is the Son of God, literally, actually, as men are the sons of
mortal parents . . ."
