On the new earth, in which righteousness dwells, God will provide an eternal home for the redeemed and a perfect environment for everlasting life, love, joy, and learning in His presence. For here God Himself will dwell with His people, and suffering and death will have passed away. The great controversy will be ended, and sin will be no more.

Seventh-day Adventists believe, the earth will be purified with fire and re-created at the command of Christ into the eternal home of His redeemed. "The eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped"(Isaiah 35:5). "And there shall be no more death, neither sorrow nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain"(Revelation 21:4). Then all sorrows will be over, and all man's brightest hopes will be realized. This will be "heaven on earth" at last, not only for Seventh-day Adventists but for all who love the Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity."
